Courtney (Kit) Ross '20 Recruiting Profile

Entering high school last fall at a new school and trying out for the senior varsity soccer team was certainly a challenge as well as a great learning experience. I learned the value of hard work, perseverance and a positive attitude which helped me earn a position as the starting outside back in my freshman year.  Academically, I earned a platinum award as one of my school’s top academic students with an overall average of 99% (4.0 GPA), while embracing a rigorous course load. Outside of school, I have played for my club team for seven years and over that time I developed a passion for soccer. I play each game with heart, hustle, and sportsmanship, and, as assistant captain of my team, I help lead my team to play that way as well.  

I am seeking a college program that is a great fit both academically and from an athletic perspective. I believe that my work ethic, enthusiasm and leadership skills will again help me to stand out as a student athlete and would help me to make a positive impact on a college team.
