Hi Coach:
**I am currently in my Sophmore year on a soccer scholarship playing for Macclesfield FC in the UK and enjoy it immensely. I am learning from amazing coaches and played with brilliant girls. I was the lead scorer and was interviewed several times by the local paper and our club's social media pages for scoring 3-4 goals. in 5 games this season. We made the finals but lost 2-0. In our semi final game, I scored 3 times to get us to the finals. In my first season (2022/2021) I was awarded the The coaches award for Best Female player in my second season (2022/2023) I was awarded The Golden Boot for most goals scored in our season. I scored 21 goals in 19 games. I was selected to join one of England's junior national team and have been called up to play on semi-pro teams while in the UK. I have accomplished most of my goals, and I am working towards my ultimate goal; to play for a National Teams and have the opportunity to play at the Olympics and Women's World Cup.

My name is Celeste. I am 17 years old. I am in the class of 2021. I attend Everest Academy in Canada. I have played soccer since age 5. I love this sport and it's all I want to do. Being under lockdown has been very hard over here. All sports clubs have been closed since March of 2020 due to COVID-19. There are no school sports either. I have a gym in my basement, so I have been working out every day since the lockdown and doing keep-ups and watching soccer. I miss the game so much.
I am graduating in May and my biggest goal is to attend an HBCU and play College soccer. I only want to attend an HBCU. I have received interest to attend schools in Canada, but I had to decline the offer. My other offers include schools in the UK.
My background is from Jamaica, but I was born in Canada. I believe in the values of Faith, Hard work, Integrity and Collaboration. Outside of soccer, I enjoy cooking, community volunteerism and photography. I also play basketball, and love listening to music and working out.
I am a hard worker with a strong work ethic. I'm a perfectionist and try hard at everything I do. I take things seriously but also have a cool vibe. I'm always the girl on team that gets along well with everyone. I am a team player and make plays that always helps out my team. I value other people's time and I am never late. I get to practice extra early and never miss a practice or game. I have never been injured and live a very healthy lifestyle. I am focused and take school seriously. I am fortunate to have two amazing parents; a dad who played College football and a brother who is on a scholarship for basketball in Buffalo. Being a student-athlete is all I know and love. I hope you see something in me that makes you want to take a chance and get to know me. When can we set up a time so that I can introduce myself? Can we set up a zoom talk?
Sincerely,
Celeste
