My name is Meighan Smith (pronounced Mee-gan) and I have dual-citizenship with the USA and Canada! I currently play for North York FC U18 (Graduating 2023). Recently my team went 3-0 in the Desert Super Cup U-19 girls to make the championship game. We, unfortunately, took 2nd place losing to the #18 ranked Phoenix Premier team. I scored the lone goal for our team in the championship game.
I’m a very fast and aggressive striker who gets behind the defence goes to goal and finishes. I am a strong technical player with excellent game awareness, a long passing range, and a great desire to compete at the best level possible. I enjoy attacking with and without the ball and take defending extremely seriously because I understand the need for team defence. I've established a reputation on my team as a hard worker and tenacious competitor, which lets me stand out as a player. I will always contribute everything I'm capable of to my team
