As I step and grow into my collegiate years, so will my personal growth. Off the field my goal is to explore medicine, major in biomedical research and position myself to have the most success in obtaining both my bachelors and masters degree. Through High school I have centered my learning around science, taking IB Biology(1 and 2), Physics, Chemistry, IB Environmental Science, Human Body systems and Medical Careers Exploration. However, on the field and out of the school setting I desire to continue my soccer career striving for a higher and more challenging level. Being a dynamic player and positive influence, as I take leadership on and off the field, as supporting my team is always my plan. From playing for State Teams and ODP , to High school Varsity as a freshman and ECNL; being a holding midfielder is a job that takes a lot of responsibility. Threading balls through the back line into the offense, scanning the field, being aggressive to win 50/50 balls and playing back to reset away from pressure are some of my technical strengths. To keep the defense and offense together with communication and team effort, that highlights one of my strengths as I have learned to control the field and see the impact by how my team reacts biased off my own desire, skill and attitude in training's and games. One thing soccer has taught me is that you don't need a title to make an impact, just because you are not a "captain" doesn't mean you can't make your voice heard and a difference on the field with your attitude. As I grow physically and mentally though my college career I will strive to be an asset to the team, with my hardworking mentality, uplifting attitude, desire and passion in soccer.
