Josie Pothast '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Josie. Growing up soccer was my #1 favorite sport and over time I had begun to grow not only a love for the game but also develop a deep passion. I have played many sports as a kid including gymnastics, skiing and rock climbing but soccer has always been my top priority.   I have dedicated loads of time on and off the field studying the game, exercising and working hard to develop as a player. My teammates have described me to be a leader as well as a strong passer. I always think about the mental aspect of soccer and small details others may not notice. Academically I always work hard to maintain good grades and preserve through challenges. My goals for the future are to almost perfect my technical skills and get into a good collage for athletics and/or academics.
