Chloe Shaw '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to complete a degree - academics come first.   I also want to grow in my independence and meet new and different people.   I also have a goal of making it onto a college soccer team so I can play the sport that I love for as long as I can.  I would be a great addition to a team because I'm a good teammate and because of my  developing leadership qualities.  I am responsible, and I always put the team first.  I also strive for balance in my life, as I am a three sport athlete at my school, involved in student council, and work during the summers.   Something that makes me different is that I have always played for my dad.   And while that's not always been easy, it's let me see another side of soccer, helps me to better understand how to be a leader on and off the field, and have a little bit of empathy for my coaches!!  My dad is career military so I also have a good understanding of what it takes to be disciplined and respectful.  Other coaches have said they like to have me around because of the way I practice and treat my teammates.
