Personal Statement

Ever since I was 12,I played goalie for my A.Y.S.O and club teams. My age group around the area never had anyone who wanted to play keeper, so my coach asked me to try and ever since I stepped in net for my first game I felt like that was where i was comfortable on the team. There were definitely hard times growing as a keeper, when I got down on myself for bad mistakes. As I grew, I realized those mistakes and the people that put me down only made me a much better keeper and person. They pushed me to believe in myself and not believe what everyone else says. I always dreamed about playing keeper in college and I strive at everything I do to make that dream a reality.Another reason, why I strive to get as much help with college costs is that my parents have always been there for me in anything I do. They pay so much money for equipment, team costs, tournaments, and just to raise my sisters and I. I've always had a feeling that if I could get a scholorship& I could pay them back with a happy retirement for all those hard financial times we went through as a family.I try to help and push everyone around me to never give up on their dreams and to always give anything they do their best. Being a goalie is where my heart and life lies, and I do whatever I can to make my team and myself better. I have reached a very good time in my soccer career. I got selected to go to Italy with US u19 San Marino Cup select team in July 2014. I keep working hard and pushing myself for this once in a lifetime opportunity. I always dreamed about playing for my country and this is a big step in that direction. So I am looking for a coach that will give me a chance, and I'll do everything I can to prove I can be the best goalie for you.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
