I was born and raised in West Chester, PA and I love my pretty, little town. When I think about what I love about soccer, its all of it. It's a sport that allows me individual freedom to make choices and be creative instead of giving me certain plays to run. It allows me to work towards what I want to achieve personally and with a team. I think I bring the energy to my team! My coach has told me that I am a leader on the team that doesn't need a title - captain or not, my behavior doesn't change. I like to also be helpful and clean up after practices or games, help carry things to my coach's car after we train, or do anything that needs to be done. On the field, I'm typically faster than most people I go against and can spin off defenders well. I also think I make runs into space to receive the ball or runs across the defense to move and drag the opposition and create space for others.
When I think about playing soccer after high school, it is something I want to do every day. Just touching a ball makes me happy and even on my off days I like to go do something. I like to meet new people and most of my best friends are made from soccer. We met through soccer, have gotten to know each other through our experiences and I want to continue those moments in college. Outside of soccer I swim competitively year-round and love working out. I'm an outdoorsy girl and really like hiking and mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
