Soccer is a huge part of my life and it has taught me many lessons. One of the most important life lessons that plays a role in my everyday life is to never give up and always work hard no matter what I am doing. I give 110% on the field each and every time and I continue to be a be a 5 year academic member of the National Honor Society. My GPA is at 96% and my goal is to graduate with high honors in 2022.
Soccer has taught me perseverance. After a big loss or a tough practice, I continue to work and know that good things will come from my efforts. Soccer has shown me that being a member on a team is a gift and it should not be taken lightly. I understand this and do not take it for granted. Being a team player is important in my family life, my friendship life and all of the soccer teams that I have been a part of. I've learned that there is no "I "in a team and you can't succeed without working together.
I feel very fortunate to have gotten to the point that I'm at today and I'm excited to begin my next journey by playing at the college level. I'm determined to take the things that I have learned on and off the field and apply them to the next opportunity given to me.
