Claire Mercurio '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play at the highest collegiate level possible. I have not narrowed down colleges that I'm interested in, am still very open minded about type of school. geographics & my intent on a major.  I have been around sports my whole life, my father is a Major League baseball scout; I have been a varsity player & letter winner since my freshman year in both basketball & soccer at a big HS in the Pittsburgh, PA area, both an athletic but also poised, winning type player that plays tough; In basketball have been a scoring guard & ballhawk defender, in soccer a skilled offensive player that has good instincts seeing the game well, creates chances & have scored goals at a high rate through my career; I have played for successful, demading coaches, have played in a lot of big games at different levels of my career in both sports; I think I'm a good teammate, unselfish player with abilities that makes others better around me
