My name is Olivia Shertzer (2023), an outside midfielder from south-central Pennsylvania where I play competitively for Pennsylvania Classics on the academy team in the Girls Academy League (GA) and formerly the Developmental Academy (DA). As an upcoming 2023 graduate, I have set my sights on playing collegiate soccer. While every student-athlete has the dream of studying, training, and competing at the highest level, there are only so many that will put in the work and effort to achieve that goal. I am one of those people. I have been competing at the highest level in my club and region since the age of eight. I am recognized on and off the field by my coaches and teachers for my work ethic, determination, and leadership. My personal commitment to work on my soccer IQ, fundamental skills, and fitness extends beyond my club training. I continuously look for ways to improve my game and welcome feedback from my coaches and teammates. Challenges on and off the field provide me opportunities to grow as an individual, a soccer player, and as a teammate. As I search for a school that is the right fit for me, I look forward to all opportunities to showcase my talents, skills, and love for the sport of soccer.
