My name is Catherine Klaff, but I go by my middle name, Annie. I have been playing soccer for around 10 years and hope to pursue my soccer career throughout college. I am in 11th grade at Mercersburg Academy, a boarding school in Pennsylvania, but I am from Northern Virginia. For three years now, I have played the entirety of each Varsity game and was the recipient of an award for the player with the most outstanding contribution to the team. I have had experience playing in almost all positions on the field, but am currently designated as an attacking center midfielder. For my 2018 season, I was awarded and recognized for 1st Team All-Conference. Prior to boarding school, I was a starter, at right wing, for my travel team in Virginia, the Great Falls Renegades, and continue to guest play with them whenever possible. While I was a full time member of the Renegades, the team was ranked 7th in the state of Virginia, an are currently ranked 3rd. Outside of my soccer season, I run Varsity track and field. Because of my speed and competitive nature, I run the 800m, 400m, 4x400m events, as well as compete in long jump. My PR’s for these events are: 60s (400m), 2:36min (800m), and 17’3” (LJ). This year, in addition to running track and field in my off seasons, I am hoping to play on a local club soccer team.
