Hello, my name is Madisyn Jesih, but everyone calls me Madi. I'm currently a junior at Gateway High School and wish to further my academic and athletic careers in college. My intended major is education, this would help me pursue my dream profession of becoming a teacher.
I started soccer when I was 4 years old, but my love for the game started before then when I got my first soccer ball. Since then, through discipline and hard work, I have dedicated myself to becoming the best player possible. I joined club soccer with Hotspurs when I was 10 years old which helped me progress even more. I would best describe my playstyle as technical and versatile which is helpful for my team as I can play wherever I am needed. I believe I can also distribute the ball accurately and take control, as well as connect the sides of the field into one. As a three year varsity starter at Gateway High School, I was grateful to be awarded an all-section award as a fullback my sophomore year. I have also been awarded the coach's player award at Hotspurs two years in a row and Team Player of the Year in 2021 which further shows my positive mindset and ability to be instructed with constructive criticism.
