I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. Since then I have loved the sport and wanted to play at the highest level I can reach. Playing at the collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity that can change my life.
I am able to catch the ball and stick with it while diving on the field. I am also able to come out quickly for a breakaway save or a drop back with a quick pass out. I try very hard to encourage my teammates while also being a leader and communicating on the field. I strive to do my best in practice and outside of practice.
I work hard all year round trying to improve my soccer skills, catching and diving along with footwork. I also weight lift and do plyometrics to gain strength and endurance for soccer. I participate with my own club team all year round as well as guest playing with other teams when the opportunity arises, and I play basketball for my high school team during the winter. Then along with sports I always study hard and maintain a high GPA in the classroom.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself hard in the classroom and on the soccer field. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a role model to peers and make my parents proud.
