Daniela Ortiz-Rivera '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniela Ortiz and I'm a 2022 graduate at Colegio San Antonio Abad in Puerto Rico. I've had the honor of playing for the Puerto Rican National Team. I began gaining interest in the sport after my brothers joined our local team and I've developed a love for the game ever since. Through soccer I've learned skills such as time management, discipline, responsibility and respect,which have helped mold me into the person I am today. I've been able to grow and mature through this sport and for that I'm eternally grateful.

My academic goals for highschool are to graduate with high honors and get into a good college that is challenging in both athletics and academically. As for my college aspirations I hope to get my degree in either Athletic Training or Exercise Science and hopefully help my college team accomplish any of their goals. Despite going through multiple injuries this past year and getting cut from this year's national team roster, I've kept my head high and continued working hard towards my goals. Thanks to my work ethic I know I have what it takes to compete at the collegiate level!
