Since I first started playing soccer I knew that I wanted to play at a collegiate level. My collegiate goals involve playing at the most competitive level of soccer I can, as well as achieving an education in sports medicine. Knowing what my goals were from a young age helped me push myself more than other players, because of this I am extremely conscious of what I eat, keeping a high GPA, and training twice as much as required.
I am different from other players on the field because I don't just focus on making myself better, but also on making my team better by being a hard working and supportive teammate. I am also open to criticism on my game so that I can use it to change and improve my game. My vision on the field has helped me to become a strong player as I know where to move off the ball and what should happen when I have the ball. Since I played Futsal for 3 years my ball control and dribbling skills are above most players. Along with that I have a very strong and accurate shot.
I am different from other recruits in that I am able to bring a sense of humour as well as a strong work ethic to push not only myself but my teammates to be better. Also, I have learnt to go out of my comfort zone, as I have had to travel farther in order to find a more competitive level. With the amount of travel involved to be at this level it also shows my dedication and drive to reach my goals.
