What sets me apart?
Character: I put the work in during and after practice is done. During the summer I train as follows:
- Speed and agility: 1 hr, 4 days/week
- Endurance: self train 1 hr, 4 days/week
- Individual skills: self train 1 hr, 5 days/week
- Coerver training: 3 hrs, 4 days/week
I do this so that I am ready for the next season. During the season I trim training down but I know it takes hard work to make it and I really love the game.
Athletics: I’ve played soccer since I was 4 or 5 years old. My dad trained me when I was young and taught me patience with the ball and love for the game. I’m physical but also skilled. I can also use both of my feet (ambidextrous) and this skill helps me when playing the ball.
Academics: I am a Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program) student and have gotten nothing but A’s my entire school career. I work hard in school just like I do in soccer and anything else I do.
