Kathryn Rice '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kathryn Rice, I like to go by Janie. I am a junior at Wren High School in Piedmont South Carolina. As a freshmen I recieved Honorable Mention for my region. I was captain of my club team and I am a strong leader, I work very hard at everything I am told to do, and I try to do what my coaches tell me to the best of my ability. I love soccer and it is my dream to continue to play soccer after high school.

I want to go to college in Charleston, either College of Charleston or Costal Carolina. I am also looking for a college with a strong Christian Ministry. The reason I want to go to Charleston is that it is in state for me and it isn't close to home but it is not far away. I do not have a prefrence of large schools or small, I just want to go to a school with strong academic programs. I am open to go anywhere, it would be great if the college has strong academics and Christian ministry programs.
IF I get the chance to play at a college level, I want to make relationships with the girls on the team that will last for a lifetime. I want to make an impact on the team. I would love to start as a freshman but it would not bother me if I didn't. By the end of my senior year of college I want to be a leader of the team and I want to help the team by serving and working hard.
