My name is Madison Bennett and I am a soccer player graduating in 2024.
I started playing soccer at six years old and absolutely fell in love with it when I joined club soccer two years later. Since then I’ve tried my hand at other sports, including: basketball, softball, and track. While none of them have come close to soccer, I have enjoyed track very much. In my 2022 season, which was also my first season, I was able to compete on the varsity team and even make it to sectionals with both my relay teams.
For soccer, I mainly play striker but I am also comfortable on the wing. Although my dominant foot is my right, I enjoy playing on both sides of the field and using both my left and right foot to advance them both. I am also usually able to play an entire game with no substitutions due to my fitness level during the season.
On top of sports, I try my best to make sure my grades are on point. I have a 4.0 gpa and my cumulative gpa average was over 99% this past school year. I take as much honors classes as I can and try to also include some AP classes as well. My goal is to get an academic and sports’ scholarship going into college. I want to play college soccer in Division 1 or 2, so I will continue to work hard with the support of my coaches, teachers, and my parents.
