Competitive, coachable, and composed are ways coaches describe me. I play for a very competitive High School team where we compete against college-bound athletes every week. My team finished as Champions in the state of TN the last two years. I enjoy playing against tough competition because it challenges and pushes me to get better.
I am committed to continuous development because I did not start out being an excellent player. At first, I did not make the most competitive club soccer team, which drove me to improve. Now I am a starter on my school and club teams, and we compete for state, regional, and national championships. I have also excelled at track winning two state championships in the 4x400m and 4x800m relays
I am a technically skilled player that makes excellent tactical decisions. I believe my strengths are using my speed and physicality to win 1v1 matchups then quickly countering while making good decisions. I see and play the game fast by applying my ability to anticipate, recognize, and react quickly.
I am committed to reaching my full potential on the field and in the classroom. I take pride in academics and have been able to maintain A's while taking all Honors and AP classes. I am leaning toward the healthcare field for a career choice. My goal is to play for a competitive college soccer program and gain the education and skills necessary to have a successful career after my playing days are over.
My family is vital to me and has shaped me into the person I am today. I am blessed to be in a stable and supportive family that encourages me to do my best. My immediate and extended family attends the majority of the games I play. Being close enough to home for my family to see me play in college is essential. They have taught me to be honest, hardworking, persistent, loyal, courageous, and kind. As a result, I approach life with humble confidence and strive to make the most of my opportunities.
