2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Soccer is my passion and I love how creative I can be playing this game. As a midfielder, I enjoy having the opportunity to score, but I also provide support to my team defensively. I am a determined competitor and I read the field well to make good decisions. As a strong communicator on the field, I am always supportive of all players to make sure we stay focused and succeed as a team.
This past high school season, I played on the varsity team and earned freshman of the year for my district. This was a result of my hard work. I am very dedicated to training, so I can be the best at the sport I love. I am also very coachable and always seek feedback because that helps me get better.
My academics are also very important to me. I am very goal driven on and off the field. I am taking honors and AP classes to challenge myself. My focus is Health Science and I’m looking towards a future career in this field because of my desire to serve others.
