Hi, I'm Celia Powell and I play for my high school team, Wayne County High School, as a forward. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. The pitch is my happy place. Every time I walk on the pitch, it brings me so much joy.
I am a great positive leader on and off the field with great perseverance, discipline, and determination. I would be a great candidate for any college team because of these qualities. I have a strong passion for the game and a great vision of the field. In most games, my team plays with no subs or plays down a player. However, I believe this has helped me develop into a better player. It has helped me learn how to push past exhaustion, never give up, and always stay positive. I have strong legs and good speed for fast breaks, cuts, and dribbling past my opponents.
I am an excellent student who studies hard and makes academics a priority. I have a 4.0 GPA and am currently ranked 4th in my class. I referee Youth League soccer games in my spare time and also participate in other volunteer activities as well.
