My name is Brittany Baca and I am a 5’ 6 ½” junior from Dallas, TX. I have been playing goalie since I was about 5 years old and soccer since I was 3. I played on a co-ed Middle School team and for the last 3 years I have played on the Boys Varsity Team, starting 2 of those 3 years. I am an aggressive player who is not afraid of taking some kicks if it means getting the ball.
For the last 3 years, I have been the student athletic trainer for the Varsity football team as well as a member of the Varsity track team. I throw both shot and disc, setting a school record last year in shot put and ending my sophomore year ranked 9th in State for TAPPS 3A.
Outside of athletics, I am a peer helper, class officer, FCA officer, and a member of the photography club. I have been awarded the Leadership award. I also volunteer in my church nursery and tutor Math.
I would love to have the opportunity to continue participating in athletics and playing soccer at the collegiate level while studying to become an orthopedic surgeon.
