Gabrielle Pace '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabrielle Pace but I prefer to be called Gabby. I am a senior at William J Brennan High School in San Antonio, Texas. Last year, our varsity soccer team was co-champion in our district. We went on to round 4 of the state playoffs where we lost 4 to 0 to Vandergrift High School. 

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. My goal is play soccer competitively for as long as I can. Soccer motivates me to be the best version of myself on and off the field. On the field, I enjoy encouraging my teammates to play hard for the full 90 minutes in a positive and uplifting way. I take the opportunity to learn something new each practice whether from my coach or my teammates. 

I played outside back for the Kaiserslautern Military Community’s soccer club for 5 years in Germany. I made the Ramstein High School team as a freshman and sophomore before moving to San Antonio in August 2020. While in Germany, I participated in the Olympic Development Program for 4 years. Since coming to San Antonio and playing for Brennan and also Surf SC San Antonio, I have played attacking mid, holding mid, forward and defense. I have proved to be a flexible player who can play wherever the coach needs me to play.

I also have pushed myself to succeed academically as well as athletically. I am consistently on the A-B Honor roll while taking Advanced Placement and college level classes. I want to be as successful off the field as I am on the field and I am confident that I will continue to do so in the future.
