My name is Mia Romero and I am entering into my Senior year, come the fall of 2024 at Wylie High School, in Wylie, TX.
I play for one of the top soccer clubs here in the Dallas Motorplex, Solar. I am a 2007 playing up on the 2007 / 2006 ECNL- RL team under Sal Adames. Here in the DFW area RL is the second league under ECNL and it is extremely competitive. I currently play in the center as the 10, 8, and the 6. I bring a lot of dynamic play with my advanced technical ability as well as my ball handling skills. I grew up playing a lot of fustal, which made me quick in tight spaces and gave me the ability to play faster. My preferred style of play is possession base and combination play. I am also a huge Barcelona fan and love their style of play.
For High School, I am a Varsity starter at Wylie High School that is a 6A school. I play in the middle as the 10, 8, and 6 as well.
Since I was little, I have been working extremely hard to get to the college playing level. I have always had a ball at my feet, since I can remember and I have done multiple skill sessions a week since I was 9, under Reagan Angell (Prodigy Soccer Training). I also train with Franky Ovideo a retired Colombian National Team member. I cannot imagine not playing in college at a high level.
Right now, I am undecided about my major but I am interested in Foreign Languages, Dentistry, Law, Business and Sports Medicine. I am an A Honor Roll Student and I am excited about joining a new team and continuing to find what I am meant to study in college.
I am looking forward to connecting with you and discussing a place for me at your school.
Thank you,
Mia
