Soccer never really was my dream but as I have been playing for over nine years, my dreams have changed. Through soccer, I have learned what it takes become good at something you love. Through all the hours of training, and drills, and coaching younger teams, I have discovered why I love this sport. Soccer provides me with an outlet to channel my energy and help me stay focused on what is really important. The reason I started playing soccer was to spend time with a couple friends. Soon, I was offered a spot on a different team and my friends were not. As an eight year old girl, I had to make the decision to progress and become better at what I love to do, or I could stay with the team I was already on, with the friends I already had. I decided to go to the new team and make new friends. For some reason, making new friends took a little longer than my parents and I had anticipated. But eventually, I made some new friends, and I fell in love with the sport all over again. During the high school season my freshman year, we took the Utah Region 8 State Title. While I was not on the Varsity team, the team environment made me feel like I was. I hope to make everyone I meet, both through soccer and through school, feel the same way I felt that year.
I currently have a YouTube channel with all my game film from my 2020 Summer season. I plan on posting all the game film I have from previous seasons and all the game film I will have from my Fall 2020 season.
