I began playing soccer when I was 3 years old. Since this age, I've had a fascination and a devotion for soccer while training and playing for 13 years (year round) with specific goals and achievement in mind.
My collegiate goals are to play DII or DIII soccer where I will continue to train and compete to the best of my ability with other goal oriented women like myself. I also want to continue to achieve excellence academically in college, as I have done in high school and the Community College of Vermont (CCV). As I love working with kids, my wish is to complete my education with the necessary degree(s) to be certified to teach at the elementary school level. Next year I will be taking advantage of the Early College Program at the CCV by attending full time for my senior year in high school.
I have many strengths as a soccer player including my field vision, passing (through balls and crosses), free kicks, and my speed as a player. At 5'10", my height is also a great advantage, and my long arms and basketball experience allow me to make long and precise throw ins.
On a collegiate team, I also look forward to learning and competing at a high level with skilled team members. I believe a team can only win through the help of each other and working together is one of the most important aspects in soccer. I also consider myself to be a very valuable team player because I am always aiming to stay mentally strong and by helping teammates to stay strong in the worst of times.
