James Ashley Carr '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a team player who can and will work well with any other player. I am a kind, caring and compassionate player that can show empathy on the field, but never let it get to my head. Soccer is supposed to make you happy. If you're not happy while you are playing soccer, why do you play soccer? Although having fun and having a passion for the game is important there are other aspects of soccer that you must consider while playing. Winning is a bonus to good playing. If your team plays well and wins then you can count it as a win. But if your team doesn't play well together but you still win, I don't know if you should call it a win. There is always room for improvement and it is important to have players that understand that. However, it is also important to have players who can enjoy every bit of the game, including the ending, no matter the outcome.
