My goal is to play on a collegiate soccer team. I am a rising junior at Wilson Memorial High School. I have been a starter on the girl’s varsity soccer team as a freshman and sophmore. I have had the honor of being voted to the 2017 and 2018 All District 2nd team. In the fall I will continue to play club soccer for Soccer Organization Charlottesville Area (SOCA) on the U18-19 Girls Elite team, under the direction of coach Jason Moore. For the past three years, I have played for head coach Anne Germain on the 2001 Girls VA ODP state team. This has been an exciting year for the 2001 girls team, as we have advanced in the Regional Championships to take place in Delaware, June 23 & 24!
I am just as dedicated in the classroom as I am on the pitch. As a high school athlete I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and am on track to graduate with an advanced studies diploma. I was currently inducted into the National Honors Society and will be attending the Shenandoah Valley Governors School during the 2018-2019 school year. As a player I am well-rounded in all 10 field positions, however I prefer to play the 3, 2, 7 and 11 positions. I seek opportunities to challenge myself and improve my technique and performance. Recently I was selected to the Club Champions League United Girls 2001 international team, to compete in Sweden for the Gothia Cup in July 2018.
