Hi, I am Elise Bennett. I am an attacking midfielder but I have played everywhere on the field including keeper. I started playing when I was 4 years old and started playing travel when I was 10. The summer before 7th grade I moved from Ohio to Virginia and I was nervous to find a new team. After 2 seasons with FYSA(Fluvanna County) I decided to join the club in my town. Again, I was nervous but LFC (Louisa County) really helped me grow as an individual and a team player. I played Junior Varsity soccer for my high-school when I was in 8th grade and made Varsity as a freshman. Unfortunately , our season got cancel due to Covid-19 but I took it as an opportunity to work on myself. In August of 2020 I tried out for the Charlottesville area Olympic Development Program. I played indoor in the winter and was a starting forward for varsity both my Sophomore and Junior year. I now play midfield for the Culpeper 05-06 girls team and play sand soccer in the summer.
I hope to play in college because soccer has been my outlet for as long as I can remember and especially through Covid. I am a team player. I have worked hard for where I’m at and I have even more room to grow.
