Hello, my name is Mia Brown and I am in my Junior year at Brentsville District High School, in Nokesville, VA. I am looking for a college that is both academically and athletically challenging. Soccer has been a huge part of my life for over 12 years now. I began as most kids do with the recreational leagues when I was 3 years old, and continued to the travel and now premier leagues within my state program. I have a desire to continue to play as the competition is what I desire and always have. I have always looked forward to game day and cannot imagine not playing anymore after graduation. Competing in the NPL, NPL RL and Super Y leagues has given me the drive and determination to continue playing at a high level of competition. The opportunity to play for another 4 years after high school would be an honor to share the experience with other players and do the sport that I love on a daily basis.
My studies are also very important to me and I maintain a 3.8 GPA so far into my Sophomore year. I am taking the Cambridge Program and this will allow for me to transfer over 30 units to college upon my Freshman year of entry. I am very interested in Physical Therapy and am taking Sports Medicine classes in High School now to get a head start on the college process. It is very important to me to maintain good grades and accomplish becoming a DPT in Physical Therapy. I have lofty goals and believe through soccer and academics that these ambitions in life will be accomplished.
