Gabby de la Cruz '23 Recruiting Profile

On the pitch, I am a player that loves to encourage my teammates, as well as myself, to play to their full potential, at all times. I have strong leadership skills, which are reflected by the multi-year nominations of being named Captain of my various Loudoun Travel teams, as well as my high school JV team. 

I consider myself to be extremely driven, coach-able, supportive of my teammates and very committed to my personal and team goals. Over the years, I have created collaborative relationships with multiple coaches where I felt like my feedback and ideas were encouraged and applied. I consider these relationships to be one of my favorite memories of my soccer career, thus far. I also deeply value the many lasting bonds that I have created with many of my past teammates. 

Outside of sports, I am dedicated to my schoolwork by maintaining a stable GPA, utilizing my free time by studying and staying on top of my work. My goal is to attend a University where I can study in the field of Sports Medicine or Psychology and play the game.
