I truly found my passion for soccer when I entered high school. Even though I had been playing my whole life, my love for the game had dramatically grown once I started playing at a higher level. With the competitive nature I have always had and experiencing the joy that came with soccer, I felt the urge to want to continue my soccer career at a higher level. I soon developed a passion for strength training and have been continuing my role of a leader in the weight room. Being a captain of my team sophomore and junior year taught me leadership skills that I couldn't learn anywhere else except for on the field. The lessons and skills I have learned on the field have been a huge part of building my character and goals for the future.
I wouldn’t be the person I am today without my family and faith. The endless amounts of support and love I have received from them has pushed me to be a leader on the field, as well as in the classroom. My family beliefs reflect my goals to have a good balance between being a good athlete and a good student. Having a healthy balance between athletics and academics is very important to me and one of the hardest things for student-athletes to have. My goal for college is to find a school that can give me the opportunity to be a successful student and athlete.
