My name is Angelia Mondul, a part of the 2026 graduating class at Dan River High School, VA. I am looking for a school that not only fits me in the sports aspect, but also socially and academically. I am typically an outgoing and social person who can adjust to any environment. On the field, I am a leader and a great listener. Apart from my role as a captain, I enjoy helping my teammates when they ask me questions about what they are doing wrong or what they can change to make them a better soccer player. I am a quick learning athlete, when a coach teaches me how to learn a new skill or do anything different, I am quick to learn the new skill. Having a team that I can bond with both on the soccer field and in the community, is important to me. As a goalkeeper, I have to be one of the most consistent players on the field. When I make a mistake, I try and reflect what I can change and not put the blame on my whole team. For academics, I am not quite sure what I would like to pursue as my major, but I would like to attend a collage where academics are a high priority. In my last years of high school, I am continuing to take advanced placement classes, like AP Earth Science and AP US History.
