Nicole Cargill '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Cargill and I am a student-athlete at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge VA, class of 2023.   I thrive best as a forward (9/for club), but I can also play attacking midfield (10/for high school) and Winger (11/7) for the Panama U 20 Team.  Soccer has taught me how to respond to situations while under pressure, how to resolve conflicts and it has also taught me the basic skills such as discipline, leadership, determination, dedication, self-confidence, and self-sacrifice.  Coming from a military family I've gotten the opportunity to play in different countries around the world and experience different styles of playing and coaches which has molded me into a versatile and coachable player who is determined to lead by example, give my 100 % and make a positive impact every time I step on the field. 

My collegiate goals are 1. To commit to a university that has my major and 2. Become part of a program where I can continue to grow as a student-athlete and be provided an opportunity to make an immediate impact and contribute to the team's success. 

 Becoming a pediatrician, playing soccer and one day making the National Team will not be easy, but with hard work and perseverance I have full faith that this will be another milestone I can achieve.  I have always been seen as an underdog because of my height but that has never stopped me in fact it has motivated me to set my standards higher to achieve my goals because giving up has never been nor will it ever be an option for me.
