Hi Coach! My name is Emma High and I’m a 5’ 11” defender from Vancouver, Washington. I'm a Varsity starter on my high school team and will graduate in 2024. I'm a starting Center Back for my club team, Columbia Premier G06 Black 1. We participate in the National League Northwest Conference and we're the 2022 OYSA State Champions. I’m also on the state ODP team.
My main position is Center Back and I’m confident and composed on the back line. I also play Outside Back and Wing Back. I’ve been told by coaches that I’m a versatile player and adapt well. I’m right footed, but I have no hesitation using my left. Being tall and competitive, I’m in a good position to win headers and love being called up for corner kicks. My evaluations from coaches have always included recognition for being a tough, skilled, and coachable player who is well respected by teammates.
After I graduate in 2024, I plan to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. Advancing my education is very important to me and having the opportunity to attend college while continuing to grow as an athlete is my goal. Looking forward to seeing you on the soccer pitch. Please reach out if you think I might be a good fit for your 2024 team!
