I am Kaylee Rowden, I have been playing soccer for almost 8 years, 4 of which have been club, and have been through the ups and downs of the sport. I play on two teams, the girls 09's and girls 08's, on the 09's I am the captain and this has taught me how to handle my responsibilities, leadership, patience, and communication. On the 08's, that team taught me the valuable lesson of working for what I want and that it won't be handed to me. Practicing and studying soccer outside of practice helps me reach my goal. They also taught me to take every opportunity and not take it for granted. My goal is to play else D1 or D2 collegiate soccer and grow as a player and person. I play striker but have learned many of the positions, making me a more versatile player. I am also coachable, I believe that coaches see things that I may not, so hearing their criticism and working on that can help me reach my goal.
For Athletic and Academic achievements, I was invited to the Steel United National camp program for 2023 and afterwards ranked in the top 18 for 2009 Girls in Steel United. For school, I am an Honor Roll recipient and was invited to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, for the Award of Excellence.
