I’ve been playing soccer since I was really little. So little, I forgot the age. I played many sports when I was younger like dance, swimming, basketball, and of course soccer. Soccer was the sport that I decided to continue because I loved it so much. I just felt a connection to it. It’s the sport I’m serious about. Don’t get me wrong, I love dabbling in other sports. My family and I play badminton at least 3 times a week and it is such a hoot. Plus, throwing the football around with my dad is so fun. But the sport I’m serious about is soccer. I want to continue to grow and get better. I absolutely love watching professional soccer teams like Man City because I love studying the game. The way Man City and Kevin De Bruyne play, inspire me to be more creative and think outside the box when I play soccer. I hope that someday, I can inspire someone else to want to play more creatively. But I’m not quite at that level yet. I have gone to a couple ID camps to showcase my skills for coaches. One ID camp I went to was this summer, 2023, the EXACT camp for the first time and I was selected for the EXACT 11! This means that I was invited to go play in England next spring 2024. During my club season, I also was able to showcase my skills and was selected for the ECRL All-State team for this past season (2022-2023). Speaking of being selected for teams, last year I made varsity as a freshman for my high school team, ended up starting many games, and I was an honorable mention for KingCo All-League team. High school soccer season is one of my absolute favorite times of the year, followed by winter break. It’s pretty close though. My high school team and coach are amazing people. I love playing under the lights and doing handshakes with my teammates as they announce my name on the speakers. I absolutely love the rush of playing high school soccer and how it feels so much like playing professional soccer. Something I wish to do someday. I work my butt off every day to try and achieve this goal and I love hearing feedback so I can improve and get better.
Ok, enough about my love for soccer. Let me tell you about everything I love. I love my dogs so much. I have one yellow lab and one black lab. The black lab is named Marty McFly from the movie Back to the Future and the yellow lab is named Emmett “Doc” Brown, also from Back to the Future. I also love movies, Disney, Marvel, Legos, food, reading, music, travelling, sleeping, playing board games, and playing video games. Gosh, the list goes on and on. If you brought up any of these topics, I could talk for hours. The main big thing about me is definitely my love for Disney. My family has gone to all six parks which are located in California, Florida, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Japan. Disney is honestly the only thing I love more than soccer. I do love soccer and I would love to play professional soccer, but there’s so much more to me that makes me, me. Though, the main thing is soccer. 😊
