Marisa Emmons '24 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer has helped teach me patience, teamwork, dedication, and communication. I can play anywhere on the field but have excelled as an outside back. Besides playing for Harbor Soccer Club for 7 years; I have also earned the opportunity to play for PSPL Surf Academy letting me experience many different styles of play and coaching. I played at Washington Premier for a year but my commute took me to play for Kitsap Alliance.  My passion for service and soccer has also led me to work as a referee helping me continue to grow my soccer IQ on and off the field.  Growing up in a family of educators has helped instill a love of learning. Education is important and I will continue to work hard to achieve my dreams of playing college soccer and becoming a pilot or firefighter. One way I am continuing this is by attending West Sound Technical Center my junior year. I was accepted into the Fire Science class which helps prepare students for a high form of learning in the Fire Protection career.
