I started playing soccer at the age of 4. When I was 8, I was primarily a center midfielder. I was splitting between center mid and goalkeeper. By the time I was 11, I decided to dedicate myself to goalkeeping. I did this because I loved facing the responsibilities, pressure, and bravery that comes with being a goalkeeper. I have learned through soccer and being a keeper that I am to perform in difficult situations. I am calm under pressure, able to make quick decisions, and I am a leader on and off the field.
Ever since I stepped onto the field; I've always known I wanted to play soccer at a high level. In order to achieve my goals, I do TOCA to keep up on my ball touches, have a personal strength trainer and have a private goalkeeper coach. These training sessions, along with my club training, have allowed me to make it to ECNL playoffs twice, of which, in 2023, we finished 12th in the nation, in addition I have been selected to go to the US ID Talent Center 2 years in a row. Even with all this outside training, I am still able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and next year, during my sophomore year, I want to get into the National Honors Society.
As a student-athlete, I want to attend a college that is strong both academically and athletically. I am open to all options, and I want to go to a college where I can play the highest level of soccer that I am capable of as well as push me as a student. I hope that one day I can inspire those who love soccer the way I do.
