I hope to continue my career in soccer. I started playing soccer at a young age but had to stop due to new league rules that had me playing with girls below my level in skill. I started playing soccer again my sophomore year where I sat on the bench most of the season but I still enjoyed the little time I got to play. I worked hard in the summer to improve my ball handling, trapping, passing, and knowledge on how to read the players with the ball. All the time and effort I put into soccer payed off. My junior and Senior year I was a starter. Senior year I was put as co-captain. Senior year I had to learn a lot of more defensive skills because our team lost our main soccer and we struggled to score. Our only way to win games was to keep up with the teams we played defensively. We all as a team had to learn to be more patient in the game and to not rush. I hope that my experience with soccer can bring defense, patience, encouragement, and knowledge to a college level team. Hopefully I can add my personality to a team.
