My name is Lyndey Thompson and I am a 5'4", 130 lb. high school junior who will graduate in 2014. Since I began playing soccer at the age of six I've always had a love for the game. My dream has always been to continue playing the sport I love at the collegiate level. I have played in the WV ODP program for two years and have played against some of the best girls in the country. When I started high school I set a goal for myself to score 100 goals by the end of my senior year. I worked hard to develop my skills even further and achieved my goal by the end of my eleventh grade year. My goal for this year is to become more vocal on and off the field and to become an even stronger leader. Though I have reached my goal of 100 goals already, I plan to score more every game and finish my senior year strong. I am very versitile in all positions on the field, but am the strongest at center midfield and left forward. I see the field well and am confident in the way I play. I'm always looking for ways to improve my game, not only for myself but for my teammates. I feel that I could be a strong asset for any team I play on and look forward to the challenge.
