Lilly Yancey '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Lilly Yancey! Swimming has always been a huge impact on my life in and out of the water. I joined the Montgomery Barracudas in 3rd grade and have fell in love with the sport ever since. I currently swim for Opelika Swim Team to finish my senior year. Over the past years swimming has taught me time management, to keep pushing when I am tired, support my teammates, life lessons and so much more. This sport has helped me develop hard work ethic and I always give my max effort athletically and academically! My coaches and teammates have a huge part in my swimming career! I love cheering on my teammates and make it a top priority to be their biggest fans while they are swimming! I would love to continue my swimming career in college! I am willing to take feed back from coach’s and apply it into my swimming! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
