I have always aspired to take my athleticism to the next level. I have been a competitive swimmer since I was six years old. Racing has always been my passion in the sport. I have not only competed at a Canadian National Level in swimming. I have also competed at the Canadian Wester National level in the sport of speed skating. I also compete at a provincial level in rugby and volleyball. Swimming is my choice to further my athletic career.
Academic success is my number one priority. At my high school I have been on the honor roll, earning distinction every year. I expect to graduate with distinction earning an academic average above 90%.
I am also involved in my community. I have my level one reffing course for volleyball. I give back to the sport by volunteering my time to referee local games. I also volunteer at the veterinarian clinic. This past year I have taken my coaching 101 for swimming to inspire and teach a love for the sport.
I am not afraid to work hard and achieve the goals I set for myself. I thrive being challenged, and love to push myself to the limits. The satisfaction of reaching a goal is like no other feeling. I strive everyday to get closer and closer to that satisfaction.
