Hi, I am Brooke! I am a butterfly specialist from Alberta, Canada. I have always loved swimming. I truly enjoy the pressure and adrenaline that comes with racing, as well as the team aspect of the sport. I have been swimming for 10 years in total, 8 competitively. Throughout my career one of my biggest goals was, and still is, to get recruited and swim at the university level. Some of my greatest strengths when it comes to swimming is my endless motivation, positive perspective, and my willingness to adapt to new situations.
Not only does swimming mean a lot to me, but my education does too. Swimming has taught me many things inside of the pool and out. Diligence, commitment, and determination are all aspects of my work ethic that allow me to maintain my grades with such a busy schedule. I have always been interested in anything that has to do with the human body and sport, so during post-secondary I hope to study kinesiology and obtain a career that has to do with some type of sports medicine.
I cannot wait to begin my post-secondary journey and continuing my swimming career!
