2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Athletics has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I always enjoyed playing a sport. Whether it was little league soccer, volleyball, floor hockey it didn't matter to me, I was driven by the desire to compete and try new things. It wasn't until age ten when I decided to try swimming. From the first practice, I fell in love with the sport. I enjoy both the individual and team aspects of it. To me, there is nothing better than cheering on a teammate and watching them succeed, while also being able to race them to better yourself. I haven't been competing as long as most swimmers, but that has never stopped me from what I want to achieve.
