I began swimming competitively during my freshmen year at Admiral Arthur W. Radford High School in O'ahu, Hawai'i. I developed a passion for the sport and the team atmosphere that Radford offered and determined that swimming was to be my sport. I moved to Coronado High School my sophomore year and was fortunate enough to have a season that year through the High School Team. I have had my love/hate relationship with this sport but have continued to improve with the help from my coaches and motivation from my teammates and family. I set goals out for myself, and I make them happen because of how determined I am. That doesn't just apply to swimming, but to academics and extracurricular clubs. I know what it takes to make things happen and am willing to go the extra step to check that box off my list of goals. In college, I am planning on majoring in Architecture through a NAAB accredited school so I can create my own Architecture firm. I also plan to minor in Interior Design or Business. I also hope to swim in college, whether it be through the official college team, or through a club attached to the school. I don't want to lose the progress I have made the past four years and want to swim beyond High School.
