Hello, my name is Jennifer Graves. Since I was a toddler, I have been swimming. I started competing recreationally when I was 8, and at the age of 11, I started swimming year-round. According to my father, the first time I ever went swimming, I didn't come out of the pool until my lips were blue. I have always loved the water and I wish to continue making good memories in the pool.
My dream has always been to become a professional swimmer. To get to my goals, I try to go every practice I can and be coachable. Without the help and support from my previous and current coaches, I wouldn't be where I am today. I like getting critiqued by coaches. If it means I will improve as a swimmer, I'll do it. Academically, I push myself with AP and honor courses. I like the idea of being the best version of me, so each day I work on myself academically and physically.
