2021 Marmonte Lea...Personal Statement
Character: I enjoy sports (swimming and golf) and being around my teammates and having fun...they're some of my best friends. I try as hard as I can at competitions to do my best so I don't let my teammates and Coaches down.
Athletics: I have been competitive in swimming and golf and worked very hard at each. However at the start of 2022, I have chosen to pursue swimming for college, but continue to play recreational golf. I love both of them, but they are way different. Golf has taught me to accept the bad results even though I gave it my best shot. I've learned to stay focused, have a positive attitude while having fun. Those lessons have carried over to my swimming and made me a stronger more consistent swimmer.
Academics: Currently, my GPA is 3.7 for 2022. I love science and aspire to study dermatology and get my M.D. and start my own practice.

- I swim 4-5 times a week for 1.5 hours or so. I also do strength and flexibility training that my PT and private Coach (Michael) wants me to do. I'm also a golfer, so I walk 18 holes once or twice a week too.
