Randi Johnson '19 Recruiting Profile

I come from a very strong and loving family unit. This has not only shown me how to treat others and form strong relationships, but also gives me the security of knowing that I have a strong base of support behind me at every turn in my life. I have tried many different sports looking for the one that was the right fit for me. Starting at 5 years old, swimming has been the sport that stuck. I have come to see that beyond a basic natural talent in the water, hard work and commitment have only make me better. This past year, I have learned that my commitment and drive need to come from me, and not just to impress or gain approval from others. This has made me a much better, more driven athlete.

I want to finish my senior year with a high GPA while excelling in my sports, taking my learning beyond the classroom and continuing to develop the necessary skills to be successful not only in college, but also in life. I am excited about continuing my education in college, majoring in Criminology or Criminal Justice with the long term goal of entering into law enforcement. I am also looking forward to swimming and representing my future college or university as an elite scholar athlete.
